OpusDocsQuote to Signature

Close the loop from quote to signature, on the CPQ you already run

Salesforce configures and approves the commercial deal. OpusDocs turns that deal into the right customer documents, sends them for signature, and automatically moves the business forward when signer activity occurs.

AI-assisted quote quality

Draft, validate, and audit before an agreement reaches a signer

OpusDocs uses AI assistance around approved quotes, controlled templates, and deterministic workflow rules. Your team gets faster setup and stronger quality checks without letting AI calculate the deal or decide the legal language.

AI-assisted drafting and migration

Turn an existing quote agreement into a working template draft, with proposed merge fields, conditional sections, and signature blocks mapped to Salesforce for your team to review.

Quote and package validation

Compare the generated package with approved quote data, required terms, recipients, and attachments before it is released for signature.

Automated pre-signature auditing

Inspect final documents for missing values, inconsistent terms, omitted exhibits, superseded quote data, and broken signing fields, then route exceptions to a person.

Human-controlled by design. AI accelerates template setup and catches exceptions; your approved quote, templates, legal language, and Salesforce approvals remain authoritative.

The quote should not be where automation ends

Salesforce configures, prices, approves, and manages the commercial transaction. Then most teams step outside it: downloading files, assembling attachments, re-entering recipients, checking a signature portal, and updating Salesforce by hand.

Documents assembled by hand

Quotes, terms, exhibits, and product content get pulled together manually, one deal at a time, with nothing checking that the package is complete.

Signature status out of reach

Sales and operations cannot see the signer journey from Salesforce, so answering "where is that agreement?" means logging into another tool.

Downstream work waiting

Orders, fulfilment, and onboarding sit idle until somebody notices the agreement came back signed.

One continuous process

Quote-to-signature automation in four steps, all of them on the Salesforce record your team already works in.

  1. Step one

    Configure and approve in Salesforce

Products, pricing, discounts, terms, and approvals stay exactly where they are.

  2. Step two

    Generate the whole package

The right templates are selected and every document the deal requires is produced.

  3. Step three

    Send for signature

Recipients and signing order are applied and the package goes out from the quote.

  4. Step four

    Automate what happens next

Signature events reach Salesforce and drive the work that follows.

Keep your Salesforce quoting engine. Complete the workflow around it.

OpusDocs does not recreate product configuration, pricing, or quote calculation. It takes the approved transaction and adds the document, signature, and automation work that starts after approval.

One document strategy across Salesforce quoting

Established Salesforce CPQ and the newer Agentforce Revenue Management transaction model share the same OpusDocs experience, so generation, sending, tracking, and automation stay consistent while your revenue architecture changes underneath.

Extend established Salesforce CPQ

Generate from your existing quotes, groups, bundles, line items, terms, and recipients, leaving current calculations and approvals untouched.

Extend Agentforce Revenue Management

Work with the standard quote, line item, group, adjustment, attribute, and recipient models to produce the same documents and signing workflows.

Reduce migration rework

Templates are built against a normalised model rather than platform object names, which cuts the effort of recreating document and signature processes when you move between Salesforce quoting products.

Complex deal in. Clear document out.

Generate personalized, properly formatted documents from Salesforce data, whether the deal holds a handful of products or bundles, groups, adjustments, terms, and attachments. Conditional content adapts the wording, pricing, terms, and branding to the deal in front of you. See how generation performs as template complexity grows.

The complete package, assembled for you

Generated documents, terms, exhibits, product sheets, and attachments are combined in a controlled order, so nothing required is missing when the package goes out.

One complex agreement or a batch of thousands runs through the same governed process, which is what makes renewals and other high-volume runs practical.

Send it. Track it. Act on it.

Move straight from generated document to signature. OpusDocs builds the signing package, applies your recipient and routing rules, and keeps Salesforce current as the agreement moves.

  • See overall envelope status on the Salesforce record.
  • Track each recipient independently, including signing order.
  • Send reminders, or void an envelope that is out of date.
  • Retrieve the completed document and its signature certificate.
  • Report on time to view, time to sign, and stalled agreements.

Every signature moves the deal forward

Document and signer events land in Salesforce as records your own automation can act on, so your administrators decide what happens when an agreement is viewed, declined, completed, or close to expiring.

Do not just record the signature. Use it.

Build your own automation on signature events

Every signature event lands in Salesforce, so your team decides what happens next. Automatic reminders, orders, onboarding, alerts, or anything else you already build.

One workflow, value across the revenue team

The same process pays off differently depending on where you sit.

Revenue Operations

One measurable workflow from approved quote to completed agreement.

Sales leadership

Less seller administration and a shorter path from approval to signature.

Salesforce administrators

Configurable actions driving your own automation instead of integration glue.

Architecture and IT

Supported integration with both CPQ generations and a governed event model.

Deal desk

Documents generated directly from the approved quote, never a rekeyed copy.

Legal operations

Approved templates, document integrity, and a complete signer history.

Order operations and finance

Completed signatures trigger orders and fulfilment without a handoff.

Sales representatives

Generate, send, and track without leaving the Salesforce quote.

Frequently asked questions

Does Quote To Signature replace Salesforce CPQ?

No. OpusDocs extends Salesforce CPQ after the commercial deal is configured, priced, calculated, and approved. Salesforce remains the source of truth for the quote, and OpusDocs manages the document and signature workflow around it. We render quotes, we do not calculate them.

Does it support Agentforce Revenue Management?

Quote To Signature is built to extend both established Salesforce CPQ deployments and the standard transaction model in Agentforce Revenue Management. A separate adapter reads each one and both resolve to the same internal quote model, which is what allows one set of templates to serve both. Talk to us for the current supported version detail for your org.

We are migrating from Salesforce CPQ to Revenue Management. What happens to our documents?

Because templates are built against a normalised quote model rather than against platform object names, moving between Salesforce quoting products is a configuration change rather than a template rebuild. You can also generate from both platforms during a phased migration, using one set of templates, which is usually what makes a staged cutover workable.

What documents can OpusDocs generate?

Quotes, proposals, order forms, contracts, statements of work, product schedules and exhibits, renewal and amendment packages, invoices, and other customer communications. Documents can be assembled into a controlled package with attachments in a defined order, so nothing required goes out missing.

Which e-signature providers are supported?

Signature sits behind an adapter, so the provider is a configuration choice rather than an architectural commitment. DocuSign is our deepest integration today, and other providers connect through the same adapter. Ask us about your provider and whether you can bring your existing account.

What happens when a signer completes or declines an agreement?

The event is synchronized to Salesforce, the relevant envelope and recipient records are updated, and the change becomes available to your own automation and reporting. From there you decide what should follow, whether that is creating an order, updating the opportunity, notifying a team, or starting onboarding.

Can documents be generated automatically, without a seller clicking a button?

Yes. Generation can be started from a Salesforce action, from your own automation, through our API, or on a schedule for batch and renewal processing. The same engine can also be called from your own backend, so customer portals and self-serve flows produce identical paperwork.

How do you stop an outdated quote from being signed?

Each generated document records the quote version and the source data used to create it. If the quote changes after the document was produced, that document can be flagged as superseded and regenerated before it goes out again, so the signed agreement matches the approved deal.

Where are generated and signed documents stored?

Generated and completed documents are saved against the relevant Salesforce records so sales, operations, and service teams work from one place. Ask us for the deployment and data boundary detail that applies to your edition and region.
