Explore the tools behind your workflow.
Can legal see what is inside a template?
Yes. The Word add-in exposes the merge fields and conditional content used by the template. Authors can inspect the fields, see the criteria for dynamic sections, and edit the wording in context. You can understand and maintain the template without asking a developer to interpret its contents.
What issues can AI help legal review?
AI analysis flags potential template issues such as hardcoded data, incomplete fields, and broken conditional sections for an author to inspect. AI also assists with finding Salesforce fields and defining conditions. Legal reviews the findings, makes the changes, and decides when the template is ready for approval.
Can we generate previews without asking IT?
Yes. Once the template is saved in Salesforce and your access is configured, select a representative Salesforce record in the Word add-in and generate a preview. Inspect the resulting values, conditional sections, and formatting directly from Word. Your team can produce its own examples rather than waiting for IT to send sample documents.
Can our team collaborate in Word Online?
Yes. The OpusDocs add-in works with Word for the web as well as desktop Word. Collaborate on the shared template using Word Online’s coauthoring and comments, then review the fields and dynamic content, generate previews, and submit the updated template through your approval process.
